Dear editor:
As we cast our votes in this primary election, keep in mind that Rep. Harriet Hageman, who is a candidate for the U.S. Senate, wants to sell our public lands. At the “town hall” in Cody last spring, her speech touted Mike Lee’s proposed legislation to sell up to 3 million acres of federal land. In February she introduced legislation to repeal the Roadless Rule and ensure that future administrations cannot reinstate this rule. A vote for Hageman is a vote to sell our public land and rescind the Roadless Rule both of which would have a huge impact on Wyoming and our way of life.
