To clarify: Our Park County property tax rates are determined by the use of our property. The percentage changes when we transform our use by permit and activate it. The current rates are 9.5% for Residential, Commercial and Agricultural, 11.5% for Industrial, and 100% for Oil and Gas. Zoning is separate issue. Please contact the Park County Assessor’s office at 307-527-8651 for specific information.
Also remember the fourth Monday of May is the deadline to file for property tax exemptions, and this year Monday, May 26 is a holiday, so get your application delivered by Friday, May 23.
