Roberta (Bobbie) Jean Jones, 74, of Sterling, Colorado, passed into the loving arms of her savior Jesus on Tueday, Sept. 9.
She was born on Feb. 2, 1951, in Powell, Wyoming, to James and Mary Bever. After graduating from Powell High School, she went to Montana State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing. A devoted and skilled nurse, she spent many years caring for others in various hospitals, nursing homes and home health care agencies in Colorado and Montana.
Bobbie was also a devoted mother to her two daughters Callie and Shannon. Her children were her greatest joy, and she nurtured them with endless love, patience and wisdom.
She loved the outdoors, especially time at the family cabin. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking and had a love for animals of all kinds. Above all she had a strong faith in Jesus that guided her throughout her life.
Bobbie is survived by her daughters Callie Jones of Sterling, Colorado, and Shannon Bert) Jones of Alder, Montana; sisters Mary Phyl Bever of Billings, Montana, Barb Beavers and Carol Johnston of Powell; and nieces and nephews.
