Stanley Allen “Stan” Campbell, 87, of Longmont, Colorado, died Sept. 19, 2026. Born in Paonia, Colorado, to John Phillip Campbell and Phyllis D. Hutchins, he attended Colorado State University and served in the U.S. Navy as an electronic technician, maintaining airborne radar systems. He later graduated from Fort Lewis College and began a career in insurance.
Stan and his wife, Faye, raised their children in Denver and Powell, Wyoming. In Powell, he became a partner in a real estate and independent insurance agency and was active in local churches and community life. After retiring in 2001, he and Faye moved to Boulder to live with their son’s family. They later lived near Lyons before moving to Longmont in 2020. Stan served as an elder at Reformed Baptist Church of Northern Colorado. Friends and family remember his steady kindness, enthusiasm, generosity and readiness to help.
He is survived by Faye; their children, Sabrena and Scott; daughter-in-law Lisa; brother Terry and sister Kate; grandchildren Marie, Kärin and Jack and their spouses; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. at Reformed Baptist Church of Northern Colorado, 368 76th St., Boulder. A military graveside service will be held Oct. 6 at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver; attendees should arrive at the North Funeral entrance by 10:45 a.m. More information is available at tinyurl.com/5cjjk5ad.
