At their regular meeting on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 11:05am, the Park County Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing to consider the Special Use Permit (SUP) Application for Good SUP-299 (Applicant: Christopher Good). The applicant is seeking approval to expand the existing major wholesale business for fireworks in a manner that requires a new SUP. The applicant is proposing to add up to one hundred thirty-six (136) storage containers, in three (3) phases (currently, up to fifty-five (55) storage containers are permitted). The site of the use is within a 33.06-acre parcel, approximately 6.25 miles east of Powell, on the north side of Highway 14A. The parcel is located within part of Lots 42-D and 42-E, lying north of Highway 14A, in Section 11, T55N, R98W of the 6th P.M., Park County, Wyoming with an address of 127 Highway 14A, Powell. The property is in the General Rural Powell (GR-P) zoning district in the Cody-Powell Rural Planning Area.
