Milligan University disc golfer and former Powell resident Aaron Walker teamed up with three throwers in attempting to defend their 2025 title in the 2026 Division 3 Team National Championships, finishing in 13th place.

The team of Walker, Christopher Berney, Owen Gibson and Harrison Greene finished two strokes out of the top 10 in 12th place at under-25 and 10 strokes behind Liberty Univesity, the eventual champions in the Division 3 multi-round event.

Milligans Division 1 men and women both won the national championship.

Walker is on scholarship at Milligan to play disc golf, one of many colleges that now offers scholarships for the fast growing sport.
