After a week off from competition the Powell Panther track and field teams are ready to get back on the track, this time in front of the home crowd.
The Panthers will host the LA Kohnke at Powell High School starting with field events at 9 a.m. on Saturday, as the 1600 meter sprint medley relay will be at 9:15 a.m. and the 4x800 relay will be at 9:30 a.m. before the remainder of the track events begin at 11 a.m.
Powell is expected to welcome in 3A teams from Cody, Lander, Lovell and Worland along with competitors from lower classifications from around the Big Horn Basin region.
This is the only meet scheduled to be hosted by the Panthers before the 3A West Regional meet on May 16-17.
