She was born on Feb. 19, 1945, in Lovell, Wyoming, and grew up in Oregon Basin. Above all, Marlene cherished her family with a deep love for her children and especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. She treasured the bonds she shared with her family and friends, and her heart was full of love and kindness for those who knew her.
Marlene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mike, her parents Elmer and Jerry Blakesley, her brother Ron, her in-laws Fred and Molly Thiel, and brothers-in-law: Wayne, Frank, Tom and sisters-in-law Betty, Patty and Terry. Her loss is deeply felt by all who loved her.
She is survived by her children, Christi (Jack) Davis and Michael (Laura) Thiel; her grandchildren, Jake, Ethan, and Abby; brother-in-law Dave (Betty); and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
