Dear editor:
Never in the recent history of Wyoming have there been so many bills passed by the Legislature that have benefited the citizens of this great state!
Many of these bills were sponsored by and all were voted yes by our great Park County representatives and senators who included: Rachel Rodriquez Williams, Nina Webber, Paul Hoeft, Dan Laursen and Tim French.
Here’s the top 10:
1. 25% permanent reduction in property tax
2. $7,000 savings account for any nonpublic school student
3. Elimination of dangerous “gun-free” zones
4. Elimination of DEI in our state government and schools
5. Pro-Life laws enacted
6. No boys in girls’ sports
7. No boys in girls’ restrooms
8. Voting integrity — No outside interference from foreign entities
9. Wyoming State Shooting Complex being built in Cody
10. School finance bills and recalibration
For the first time in recent history, ALL of the Park County reps and senators worked together and the results were a win for the Wyoming people.
