Dear editor:
I would like to provide an update on the request that I sent to the commissioner of my area on Oct. 7, 2024, (almost two months ago now) requesting a written response on what the Shoshone Irrigation District could do to help with the mossing issue that was experienced by a member of my water association. Since this matter was raised by one of the members of my water association, I needed a written response to show that I forwarded this request to our commissioner to seek an answer.
I again contacted our commissioner and copied Mr. Reed on Nov. 11. There is still no response from either the commissioner of our area or Mr. Reed on this quite simple matter. Apparently, providing any level of customer service is incredibly challenging, and writing a letter is even more difficult. I expected that if everyone is required to pay a $300 landowner fee, we would receive timely and courteous customer service. Sadly, this is not the case and to say I am disappointed would be an understatement.
I will continue to follow up with the commissioner of our area and Mr. Reed on this matter.
Rob Stevens
