City of Powell Buildings HVAC Upgrades Grant Project
​ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Separate Sealed Bids for the City of Powell Buildings HVAC Upgrades Grant Project will be received by City of Powell, the OWNER, at City Hall, located at 270 N. Clark St., Powell, Wyoming 82435 until 2:00 p.m., prevailing local time, on October 15, 2024 (Point Architects and City of Powell, will take no responsibility for delivery of bids through mail). Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the stated time and place. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of (30) days after the date set for opening thereof.
The Work includes and consists of: furnishing all labor, operations, materials, accessories, incidentals, services, and equipment for work on the specific aforementioned project. The specific Work includes: furnishing all labor, means and methods, materials, Demo of the existing Mechanical Equipment, Electrical infrastructure changes, and installation of new HVAC equipment. Materials and/or work not specifically mentioned which are necessary in order to provide a complete project shall be included in the Bid and shall conform to all Local, State, and Federal requirements in accordance with the requirements, terms, specifications, conditions, and provisions hereinafter contained. Disruptive work shall not commence sooner than November 18, 2024 and shall have final completion by October 30, 2026. The sealed bids shall reference: City of Powell Buildings HVAC Upgrades Grant Project.
The Plans and Project Manual for the work may be reviewed and obtained at the office of Point Architects, P.O. Box 1001, 1203 Sheridan Ave, Cody, Wyoming 82414. No partial sets will be issued. Hard copies of the Plans and Project Manual will be issued at a non-refundable cost of $40.00 per set. Contact Kane Morris at 307-272-4006 or kane@pointarchitects.com to request hard copy plans.
If interested in doing a pre-bid walk through at the City of Powell City Hall, Police Department or The Commons, at 270 N. Clark St., Powell, Wyoming 82435, please call Kane Morris at 307-272-4006 to set up a time to do so.
In determining the lowest responsive proposal, The Owner will consider cost as a primary criterion in addition to whether the bidder is a responsible bidder. The City of Powell reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive any informalities if deemed in the best interest of the Owner. A Bid Guaranty in the form of a properly executed Bid Bond payable to the Town in the amount
of not less than 5% of the total base bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful Bidder
will be required to execute an Agreement with the Town, in the form supplied in the Bidding
Documents, within thirty (30) days after Notice of Award is issued. The Bid Guaranty shall be
forfeited as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Agreement within thirty (30) days after such Notice is issued, or fails to provide proper Bond or other form of Guaranty, as approved
