Heading into September the Good Old Boys continued to get out on the course, playing a game of Mutt and Jeff on Sept. 2.
In this game, each team uses all their net scores on par 3s and par 5s for their team score.
First place went to Clark Jeffs, Jim Core, Dave Frost and Joe Comer.
Three teams tied for second place with 129, including Stephen Burtoft, Bob Mason, Randy Mair and Lloyd Snyder; Thom Seliga, Cas Seago, Dennis McCollum and Doug Firth; and the duo of Larry Hedderman and Marc Saylor with blind draws of Snyder and Seliga.
Fifth place went to the team of Paul Devoss, Ray Nelson, Bob Varian and Judge Gambill with a score of 131.
Four deuces were carded, Jeffs on No. 4, Nelson on No. 15 and Varian on Nos. 4 and 8.
The low net went to Varian with a 69 and the low gross went to Firth with a 76.
