The Powell High School golf team played its second tournament on Monday and Tuesday in Worland, as the Panthers posted some top results in the early season.
Cody Fisher once again led the boys with a sixth place finish, turning in identical rounds of 77 to finish with a 154.
As a team the boys finished fourth in a crowded field with a two-day total of 673, as 13 teams competed over the two days.
Wheatland took the boys’ team crown with a two day total of 583 led by Tate Nichols who shot a 15-under for the tournament with rounds of 65 and 64.
The Panther girls were led by Emery Hernandez, who tied for 10th with two day totals of 94 and 91.
The girls’ team finished sixth out of eight teams at the tournament with a two day total of 624.
Wheatland also won the girls’ team title with a total of 507 while Buffalo’s Addie Bettinger won the individual tournament with scores of 82 and 91.
