Friends,

Gail and I are sorry to inform you of the passing of our son, Britt Terry, 59, at the Colorado Blood Cancer Institute in Denver, Colorado. His soul departed at 12:48 a.m. on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, 2025, leaving behind one year, eight months and six days of a valiant battle with multiple myeloma. Britt never mentioned how scary life really was, because he always faced it headlong with a smile. His promise to doctors, family, colleagues and friends was always, “We’ve got this.”

On Feb. 22, 2025, over 200 friends and colleagues joined the family at Arvada’s Los 3 Garcia’s in celebration of Britt’s life filled with a legacy of hard work, love and most of all, fun. His wife, Carol, reminded everyone, “Britt wasn’t a religious man by any definition, but yet he had the biggest, warmest, kindest heart! He would do anything for anyone at any time. He called it 'Karma Points' and he stacked up A LOT of them! He was an amazing do-gooder, and had boundless energy to move mountains if or when needed.”

Britt is survived by his beloved wife Carol of Denver; parents Gail and Jim Terry, Jr. and sister Shannon Terry of Cody; daughters Brittney Trahan (Jacob) and grandson Renton (19 months) and Brooke Terry of Denver; stepchildren Corben Kildow and Kylie (Cameron) Kildow of Denver, Clay Wise and family of Denver, Tawny Wise (Andrew) and family, and Landon Wise (Courtney) and family of Nixa, Missouri. He will be dearly missed by his aunts, uncles and cousins on both sides of the family.

Should you wish to contribute to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, Britt would be honored. Visit themmrf.org to contribute.
