WOW! What an awesome opening day at our new Powell Library. It was great to see all the people walking around, checking out all the rooms, plus checking books out also.
The Commemorative Booklet is nice too, but we’d like to recognize one more person who did an amazing job behind the scenes ... Geoff Baumann. He was the leader of a small task force (which ended up just being him) with the mission to find the ‘perfect’ architectural firm who’s focus was on the kind of library Powell community wanted and needed.
Thanks to all for the hard work to bring our community together in a peaceful and welcoming place, where all can pursue their interests in a free and safe
environment.
