Dear editor:

The letter by Pat Winlow of Sept. 25 states that President Trump is staging a coup attempt.

Perhaps Pat does not remember (selectively) all the things that the left did to Trump before, while and after he was in office. The now famous Russia Hoax, the impeachments that went nowhere, the raiding of his home for “trumped up reasons” (excuse the pun) and the attempts on his life. Trump was canceled by many online platforms taking away his freedom of speech. The J6 investigation went nowhere; however all findings have been destroyed which was illegal. They found nothing or it would have been smeared everywhere by all the Trump haters in the media and congress.

Mr. Trump has every right to seek accountability to those who bore false witness against him. The left tried to vilify the entire Trump family and their supporters. They have not succeeded because, though he is not perfect, he did not do all the things they have reported he had done. In other words, they couldn’t prove any of it.

Don’t get us started on the long list of things the far left has done to try to destroy this country.
