Dear editor:
Do people of Powell realize the chamber of commerce director has not been a Wyoming resident for months? She has been living in Maryland, making decisions and spending money that will affect Powell for years.
She “attended” the recent City Council meeting via Zoom from her Maryland home, where she has lived for months.
The Powell business community is smaller now than when this director started. Hopefully, the next one is qualified. Promoting business is the main priority of the chamber director, making this director leaving as a complete failure. At a salary of $65,000 to $80,000 a year, a community expects efficiency.
Feel free to call the chamber or the board to ask about these issues at 307-754-3494.
