Wyoming Arts Council announces Creative Aging Project grant recipients

CHEYENNE — The Wyoming Arts Council has awarded $150,000 in Creative Aging Project Grants to Wyoming artists and nonprofit organizations, including in Cody, to develop and deliver a total of 60 eight-week arts programs for older adults across the state through June 2026.

The Arts Council is pleased to announce this year’s grant recipients.

The programs are designed to provide arts education and social engagement opportunities for older adults across Wyoming. This year’s classes will include a variety of disciplines, including leatherworking, dance and memoir writing.

The following artists and nonprofit organizations have been awarded funding to develop Creative Aging programs:

“We are excited to award these grants to Wyoming artists and nonprofits to implement Creative Aging programs across Wyoming,” said Josh Chrysler of the Wyoming Arts Council. “Over the last several years, we have seen the amazing power of these programs to improve quality of life for Wyoming’s older adults, by providing opportunities to learn new artistic skills and to connect with their communities.”
