Albertsons customers have a new entrance to use as work continues on the Wyoming Department of Transportation project along the north side of U.S. Highway 14A west of town.
Contractor Mountain Construction has moved work west and at the end of last week work was done on the second half of the new Albertsons approach, Alan Road, Yellowstone Motors approach, and ADA ramps at Cedarwood Drive and Road 10.
Work this week will include the replacement of the last of the broken curb and gutter and double gutter on the north side of the roadway to the end of the curb and gutter section. The approach at Albertsons will be also completed. These new approaches will be opened as soon as concrete reaches strength.
As soon as work is completed on the north side of the roadway, the one lane closure will be removed and will be placed on the south side of the roadway working from the west end of the curb and gutter section headed east for replacement of broken curb and gutter.
