International Student & Scholar Services invites the entire community to “Wednesdays Around the World," a weekly lunch event at Northwest College that begins on March 19. Visitors can enjoy a featured dish from a different country, cooked and served by NWC international students, each Wednesday during the regular lunch time in the student center dining hall.
The cost for each lunch is $9.10, or a NWC meal swipe for students or those on a college meal plan. Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and access to all other normal dining options and amenities are included.
A total of eight countries will be represented throughout the second half of the spring semester, with the complete schedule as follows:
• March 19 – Turkmenistan
• March 26 – Vietnam
• April 2 – Turkey
• April 9 – Brazil
• April 16 – Honduras
• April 23 – Netherlands
• April 30 – Japan
• May 7 – Argentina
