Two Park County students at the University of Wyoming have been chosen to participate in the fall 2026 Leadership Academy, designed to prepare participants to lead into the future.
The Leadership Academy is a collaborative initiative between UW’s Center for Principle-Based Leadership and the organization Leadership Wyoming. Selected students will participate in fall semester workshops that focus on the key Wyoming industries of Education and Healthcare, Tourism, Agriculture and Manufacturing, and Energy.
The fall 2026 student cohort and their areas of study include Abby Wambeke of Powell, agricultural business; and Bliss Bonner of Cody, environment and natural resources and journalism, with minors in honors and Spanish.
For the first time, students from every UW college and school are represented in the program. The cohort of 22 also includes students from every academic stage — freshman through senior.
Leadership Wyoming is a statewide leadership development program that connects leaders across Wyoming. Its alumni network includes more than 1,000 professionals dedicated to civic and professional leadership.
