Cody's Sunset Elementary School, in partnership with community organizations and state initiatives, recently held a grand opening of a new collaborative space, Innotech Studios. These active learning spaces aim to create and support student development and career exploration through hands-on learning as part of the Classroom to Careers program and Gov. Mark Gordon’s RIDE (Reimagining and Innovating the Delivery of Education) initiative.
These spaces are designed to foster creativity, critical thinking and real-world skills among students as they engage with professionals and programs that bridge the gap between education and employment.
The school thanked the following organizations for their support and shared vision:
• The Daughters of the American Revolution (Victory Gardens)
• Cody CAN (student leadership and economic planning)
• Pure Performance (student healthy choices and physical fitness)
• Cent$ible Nutrition Program (student nutrition)
• The University of Wyoming Department of Agriculture (greenhouse and agriculture)
• The Wyoming Hunger Initiative (first lady Gordon)
• Wyoming Department of Health
