Stephen A. Kromrey, 76, of Powell, passed away Oct. 4, 2026, at his home with his wife by his side. He was born Sept. 2, 1950, in Livermore, California.
Stephen married Deborah Lien on March 9, 1991, in Lake Tahoe, California. He worked in construction and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was a member of Charity Baptist Church.
He enjoyed woodworking, gardening and flowers, horses and dogs.
Stephen is survived by his wife, Deborah; children C.J. Kromrey, Tim Huwaldt and Courtney Kromrey; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Stephen, and his sister, Sandi.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m Monday, Oct. 12 at Charity Baptist Church, with Kevin Schmidt officiating.
