Powell’s annual Sample the Season event, where downtown businesses open their doors to seasonal treats and drinks, returns Thursday evening.
The main event is 5-8 p.m. and attendees can pick up a bag and a map of participating businesses at the Powell Economic Partnership table at The Commons before perusing stores to sample the tastes of the season and enjoy special discounts.
The eggnog crawl also returns once again, 7-9 p.m. at local bars, each of which offers a unique twist on the classic seasonal beverage. Attendees can pick up the Eggnog Crawl passport at The Commons, visit each of the seven stops, then vote for the best using the QR code, or return the passport to Powell Chamber by 9 p.m. This event is for ages 21 and up.
