Ronald Jerry Tyree, 83, passed away at his home in Green Valley, Arizona, Nov. 17, 2022. Ron was the first child born to his mother, Lydia, in Worland, Wyoming, on Sept. 2, 1939.

The family moved to Casper where he started elementary school. Next the family moved to Powell, Wyoming, when Ron was in fourth grade, and he graduated from Powell High School in 1958.

Following his graduation he joined the U.S. Marine Corps and spent most of his time in Japan. He then moved back to Powell and attended Northwest College where he became a Lab Technician. He worked in hospitals in Bountiful, Utah, and Prescott, Arizona, and retired from Lake View Hospital in Show Low. Arizona. He then moved to a golfing community in Green Valley, Arizona, and spent most of his days on the golf course. His love of golf took him from Pebble Beach to Myrtle Beach and many courses in between, especially Wyoming, Utah and Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dennis Tyree. He is survived by his youngest brother, Mike (Mary) Tyree, Scottsdale, Arizona; his sister-in-law, Michal Ann Tyree in Sheridan, Wyoming; six nieces and nephews, 14 great nieces and nephews and four great-great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by life-long friends, Mrs. Anthony Evans and her husband, Cal, Honolulu, Hawaii. They attended many baseball spring training games in Phoenix. His aunt Marty Taylor, Worland, also survives him.
