The construction on the western side of town and out to Ralston on U.S. Highway 14A is going to swap sides this week.
Todd Frost, the Wyoming Department of Transportation’s resident engineer in Cody, said placement of the top level of surface mix was scheduled to be completed on the north side of the roadway Tuesday.
Traffic will then be switched to the north side and placement of Plant Mix Wearing coarse will start on the south side of the roadway later this week. Two way traffic will be carried on the north side of the roadway while paving is being completed on the south side of the roadway. Drivers should continue to expect reduced speeds.
The contractor still has some street and parking lot patching and clean up to complete on the north side of the roadway. This work will be ongoing.
