Eight artists from the Red Lodge Clay Center will have their work displayed in an exhibit that runs through Feb. 14 in the Northwest Gallery located inside the Cabre Building at Northwest College. The exhibition is free and open to the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and concludes with a closing reception on Friday, Feb. 14, at noon.

Four RLCC staff members, David Hiltner, Jill Oberman, Rachael Marne Jones, and Pete Scherzer and four resident artists, Maxwell Henderson, Marlaina Lutz, Tyler Quintin, and Shannon Owo Webb have contributed work for the show. The work on display includes free-standing artistic sculptures, hanging artwork, and functional ceramic objects.

Hiltner is the executive director of the RLCC, its founder, and former faculty member at Northwest College. Oberman serves as gallery coordinator, Jones is the programs coordinator, and Scherzer is facilities coordinator. The four resident artists (Henderson, Lutz, Quintin, and Webb) come from a wide variety of backgrounds and from across the United States.

Located in Red Lodge, Montana, the Red Lodge Clay Center provides a place for professionally minded ceramic artists to create new work, and hosts workshops, lectures, demonstrations, gallery exhibitions, and educational programming. It also offers multiple residency programs for artists, students, educators, or anyone looking for the time and space to invest in their studio practice.

Most of the work in the exhibit is for sale. Contact Associate Professor of Art Elaine DeBuhr at Elaine.DeBuhr@nwc.edu or 307-754-6128 for more information.
