Randy was born March 11, 1956, in Forsyth, Montana, to Santiago James Soria and Ramona DeLeon. He was the oldest of five siblings, four brothers and one sister. He attended Powell Senior High School and graduated from Powell Senior High, home of the Powell Panthers. As a teenager he worked as a car mechanic at a gas station, played football and loved his yellow and white 55 Chevy and green Dodge Charger.

After graduation he started driving semi trucks for Dick Jones Trucking based out of Powell, Wyoming; Brown Refrigeration, Carthage, Missouri; and Prime, Springfield, Missouri.   During his time driving his semi across the United States, he felt called to enlist in the United States Marine Corps. He served from April 1986 to May 1992 as an aircraft fire fighting and rescue specialist (aviation crash crew). During his service, he was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant (E-5), having been stationed in Okinawa, Japan, Operation Desert Shield, Operation Desert Storm, Kuwait and Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. In Hawaii, Randy discovered a love of running and completed five marathons on the island.

Randy grew up in Powell, Wyoming, and moved to Northglenn, Colorado, but the place he called home was a small town, Deer Trail, Colorado. He resided for the last 20 years with his mother, brother and sister.

He was preceded by death by his father Santiago Soria, brother Patrick Soria and nephew Christobal Soria. Randy is survived by his mother Ramona Soria; brothers Michael Soria and Ernest Soria; and sister Isabelle Conrad (Soria). His fatherly presence and love will be missed by nieces Jamie Gregory, Ashley Conrad and Jacquelyn Soria; nephews Robert Gregory and Dannah Wedig; great-niece and nephews Jaxon Gregory, Jordan and Adeline Muska.

A graveyard service and veteran burial is planned at Crown Hill Cemetery on July 15 in Powell, Wyoming, at 11 a.m. A Celebration of Life will take place at 1 p.m. at the VFW, 301 S. Fair St., Powell, Wyoming, supported by the 1974 Class of Powell Senior High School.
