The Commons is slated to be packed Thursday afternoon with political candidates or their representative all the way from those running for the U.S. Congress to city council.
Powell Economic Partnership is hosting a Meet the Candidates event from 4:30-6:30 p.m. PEP Executive Director Michaela Morrissey said it's an open meet and greet format and "attendees can talk to any candidate they'd like to."
That could take awhile to talk to all present, as Morrissey said as of Monday morning they'd heard from 43 candidates who plan to be there or have a representative present with a table.
Candidates are also asked to have copies of their answeres to PEP's list of questions, ranging from healthcare to economic development to general information on the candidates.
