The Powell High School volleyball team hit the road Tuesday to take on the rival Cody Fillies.
The Panthers (10-19 overall) went into the nonconference matchup against Cody (20-5 overall) looking to gain some momentum heading into their final conference game against Lovell on Friday. However, Cody took the match 3-0.
The first and second sets both started out close before the Fillies were able to pull away, winning the first set 25-18 and the second 25-16. Cody dominated the third set, defeating PHS 25-7 to complete the sweep.
The Panthers host Lovell at 2 p.m. Friday in their final home match of the season, before the conference tournament next weekend.
