CODY — Prior to the regularly scheduled board meeting on Monday, Nov. 18, the newly elected members of the Park County School District 6 Board of Trustees officially took their oaths of office.
The elected members, Mary Sims, Larry Gerber, Sheri Shutzman and Annalea Avery, will serve four-year terms. Sheri Shutzman, the incumbent, returns to the board for a second term. Mary Sims, Larry Gerber and Annalea Avery will mark their first term as trustees.
“We are thrilled to have such a dedicated group of individuals join Park 6,” said Superintendent Vernon Orndorff. “Their collective passion for education and their commitment to our students and community will undoubtedly strengthen our efforts to make Park 6 a model for public education in Wyoming.”
