CHAPTER 6, SECTION 2 CONSTRUCTION/MODIFICATION PERMIT - Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Air Quality PUBLIC NOTICE:
In accordance with Chapter 6, Section 2(m) of the Wyoming Air Quality Standards and Regulations, notice is hereby given that the State of Wyoming, Department of Environmental Quality, Division of Air Quality, proposes to approve a request by Spomer Construction Co., Inc. to modify the Hart Garland Mine, an existing ten (10) acre exemption mine, by expanding the mine over time in increments ranging between five (5) to fifteen (15) acres within the 120-acre mining site. The site will include sand and gravel crushing, screening, exposed acreage, stockpiling, haul activity, a concrete batch plant and a hot mix asphalt plant. The Hart Garland Mine is located within Lots 53J, 53I, and 53P of Section 15, T55N, R98W, approximately three (3) miles south-southeast of Garland, in Park County, Wyoming. The applicant estimates an annual production rate of 53,000 tons. No blasting is planned for this site.
For the duration of the public comment period, the permit application, the agency’s analysis, and the public notice are available for public inspection online at https://openair.wyo.gov, utilizing facility ID F015690 and permit number P0037965 under permits. This material may also be viewed online, at the above URL, utilizing a public computer at the Park County Library, Cody, Wyoming. Additionally, for the duration of the public comment period a copy of this public notice is available for public inspection at the Park County Clerk’s Office, Cody, Wyoming.
