This year’s Lenten Concert Series will continue at noon on Wednesday, April 9, in the United Church of Powell with a performance from harpist Holly Kienlen. Homemade soups and breads will be available during the event.
Featured soups will be Chix spinach cheese, cheeseburger and beef tomato. There will also be three types of bread including mixed seed bread and honey molasses.
There is no charge for the event but donations can be given at the door. All proceeds will go to a scholarship fund for Powell’s elementary schools to use for students as needed.
