A former Powell resident is making waves in California’s wine country.
Briana Jeffs, daughter of Clark and Lora Jeffs of Powell and a former First Bank of Wyoming employee, was named last week as one of the North Bay Business Journal Forty Under 40 award winners for 2026.
“These individuals under the age 40 are innovating change in their industries,” the journal reports. “This year’s list of accomplished professionals includes CEOS, bank executives, a chef and several leaders of nonprofits.”
Jeffs, 35, is senior vice president of the wine division of Silicon Valley Bank.
Awardees must be under 40 as of March 31 and must live or work in Sonoma, Marin, Napa or Solano counties.
The 40 winners, along with the 14 people considered “Ones to Watch,” will be honored April 21 at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds.
