For those who have completed the online portion of the Wyoming Hunter Education Internet course and need an Internet Competition Class to receive a Hunter Education Certificate, Wyoming Game and Fish Certified Hunter Education courses have been scheduled as the last step to receive a Wyoming Hunter Safety Certificate before this fall’s hunting seasons begin.

Two separate Wyoming Game and Fish approved Hunter Education Internet Completion courses Sponsored by Wyoming Outdoorsmen are scheduled:

1. Saturday, Aug. 29 at the Park County Fairgrounds Heart Mountain Hall with check in beginning at 7:30 a.m. and class running from 8 a.m. until approximately 2 p.m.;

2. Saturday, Sept. 12 at the Wyoming Game and Fish Regional Office located at 2 Tilden Trail, Cody, with check in beginning at 7:30 a.m. and class running from 8 a.m. until approximately 2 p.m.

To be eligible to take one of these Internet Field Day Courses each enrollee must first have completed the online portion of the class and must bring a printed paper copy of the competition certificate to the class. Attendance for the entire class time is mandatory. A Wyoming Game and Fish “Hunter Education Card” will be issued to all students who successfully complete the course and pass the final exam.

To enroll in one of these classes, go to the Wyoming Game and Fish webpage at wgfd.wyo.gov, click on the” Education tab” and then click on the “Hunter Education Course Schedule” and then find the Internet Completion course class listing. Then find the “Powell or Cody” classes. Choose the class that lists Jeremiah Vardiaman as lead instructor and click on “Enroll.”
