The Good Old Boys golf league at the Powell Golf Club was introduced to Mutt and Jeff on Tuesday. In Mutt and Jeff, team net scores are recorded only on par 3 and par 5 holes.
Taking first place with a score of 133 was the team of Bob Mason, Jim Tobin, John Chase and Marc Taylor. In second place at 135 were Howard Whitlock, Steve Burtoft, Cas Seago and Clark Jeffs.
Finishing in third at 141 were Kevin Lineback, Ray Nelson, Lloyd Snyder and Mike Hernandez. The fourth place team at 143 was composed of Dennis McCollum, Jerry Linsdau, Thom Seliga and Rhett Wolff. In fifth were Bob Parsons, Larry Hedderman, Jason Quigley and Tony Waller.
Two deuces were carded on the day — by Quigley on hole No. 4 and by Chase on hole No. 17.
The low gross score of 79 and low net of 70 were both scored by Saylor.
