The “Good Old Boys” league at Powell Golf Club played “1 and 1 plus 2” this week. That game consists of taking one low net and one low gross on the front nine holes, and taking two low net scores on the back nine.
With a score of 131, David Frost, Dennis McCollum, Thom Seliga and Tom Bibbey finished in first place. In second place were James Caffro, Steve Burtoft, Jason Quigley and Mike Hernandez, who scored 136. One stroke behind them, at 137, was the team of Kevin Lineback, Bob Mason, Clark Jeffs and Marc Saylor.
Gerry Johns, Jerry Linsdau, Jim Tobin and Judge Gambill finished in fourth place at 138. And rounding out the field was the team of Larry Hedderman, Buddy Rea, John Chase and Lloyd Snyder at 148.
Quigley carded the round’s lone deuce on hole 15. Seliga had the low net at 67 and Frost’s 78 was the low gross.
