The “Good Old Boys” golf league at Powell Golf Club played “123-CCC” ball this week. That game consists of using two net scores on par 3s and one net score and one gross score on par 5s.
The team of David Frost, Kevin Lineback, Jerry Lindsau and Jim Tobin won the round, scoring 173.
In second place were Jason Quigley, Bob Mason, Buddy Rae and Kury Reynolds, who scored 175. Larry Hedderman, Mike Hernandez, Thom Seliga and Rhett Wolff finished third at 178. At 185, Clark Jeffs, Ray Nelson, Bob Parsons and Lloyd Snyder finished fourth. And rounding out fifth place was the team of John Chase, Judge Gambill, Dennis McCollum and Cas Seago.
Two deuces were carded: Quigley on hole 4, and Nelson on hole 8. At 67, Tobin was the low net, and Reynolds was the low gross at 68.
