CODY – Dr. Thomas E. Etter, DO, a surgeon in Cody for more than 10 years, is joining Cody Regional Health’s general surgery team beginning March 9.
Dr. Etter brings more than 20 years of surgical experience and has been serving patients in the Cody community since 2013, and since 2020 at Cody Surgical Associates. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, with a strong clinical focus that includes surgical robotics, oncology, hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, thyroid procedures, breast surgery, and advanced endoscopic and colonoscopy services.
“Dr. Etter’s commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and his longstanding connection and dedication to this community make him a tremendous addition to our team,” said CEO of Cody Regional Health, Hannah McRae. “His experience further strengthens access to surgical care for patients across the Big Horn Basin and supports a comprehensive, whole-person approach to care.”
Dr. Etter will practice alongside Dr. Rebecca Deal, MD, expanding surgical capacity and ensuring continued access to comprehensive general surgery services close to home.
