The Park County Library System invites families to experience the excitement of Drum Safari, an interactive musical performance that will visit all three library branches as part of the Summer Reading programs.
Led by acclaimed educators and percussionists Brandon and Teryn Draper, Drum Safari takes audiences on a rhythmic journey around the world through music, storytelling, and hands-on participation. Children and adults alike are invited to explore global rhythms, meet animal-inspired musical characters, and become part of the performance by playing percussion instruments together.
Designed to foster creativity, confidence, and community, Drum Safari transforms every participant into an active musician while celebrating cultures and rhythms from across the globe. The engaging program encourages audiences of all ages to discover the joy of making music together in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
Drum Safari will be presented at the following locations:
• Meeteetse Library: Monday, June 29, at 10 a.m.
• Cody Library: Tuesday, June 30, at 10 a.m.
• Powell Library: Tuesday, June 30, at 2 p.m.
All performances are free and open to the public. For more information, visit parkcountylibrary.org.
