It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis Ray Williams, age 73, of Sheridan, Wyoming, on June 6, 2024. Dennis led a remarkable life, deeply devoted to his work in the motion picture industry, where he was celebrated as a location manager. A proud Army veteran, Dennis served his country with honor. His passion for storytelling and discovering breathtaking locations brought magic to countless films.
Dennis was preceded in death by his loving parents, John Marvin and Barbara Zoe Williams. He leaves behind a legacy through his daughters Brea (Mikey) Stricker and Corey (James) Bell, and his cherished grandchildren Emily and Logan. He is also survived by his brother Johnnie Jr., his sister Vi (Randy) Yates, and many nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
Dennis’ memory will shine brightly, guiding and inspiring all who knew and loved him. His adventurous spirit and warm heart will be deeply missed.
In remembrance, a private gathering will be held later in Zion National Park, a place Dennis held close to his heart for its majestic mountains and stunning rock formations.
Rest in peace, Dennis. Your stories will live on in our hearts forever.
