Dana Lytle, son of Katy Lytle of Powell and the late Rev. Ron Lytle, has been tapped for top of the advertising world honors in Wisconsin.
Lytle, the owner and CEO of a Madison, Wisconsin, advertising and design shop for 35 years, has been inducted into the Wisconsin Advertising Hall of Fame. He founded Planet Design Company in Madison in 1989, which quickly evolved into an all-media idea machine known as Planet Propaganda.
Among the client successes are Duluth Trading Company, which grew from a regional workwear cataloger into a $600 million national powerhouse, and sub sandwich boomers Jersey Mikes and Jimmy John’s. Planet Propaganda employs 30 people.
Dana Lytle was born in Powell and is a graduate of Montana State University in Bozeman. He and his wife Cheryl enjoy a vacation home there.
They have two children. Daughter Matlin is a Bozeman, Montana, school teacher, and son Garett is in the marine supply industry in Wisconsin.
