Step into an unforgettable evening of art, stories and Western spirit at Exclusive Tours’ upcoming program “Capturing the West: Songs, Stories and Stills” on July 8. From music and photography to literature and rodeo lore, this live event offers a dynamic lineup of creators who embody the heart of the American West. Capturing the West brings together four influential Western artists for an exclusive night of storytelling, song, and Western heritage:

• Christopher “Click” Thompson — The three-time National Finals Rodeo Photographer of the Year will reveal the grit and glory behind his distinctive rodeo shots and how he transformed into a nationally recognized rodeo photographer.

• Kalyn Beasley — Cody's own award-winning singer/songwriter will share the stories behind his passion for Western history and songwriting, and perform his music.

• Toby Tooke — Rodeo historian and great-grandson of rodeo pioneer Earl Chandler “Feek” Tooke will offer a rare inside look at the legendary Tooke bucking horse bloodlines.

• J.B. “Jake” Zielke — a two-time Spur Award winning author of “The Lost Cowboy” will share stories, challenges and culture shocks of cowboying on six continents before the age of 30.

This is more than an event — it’s a living tribute to the West through words, music and imagery. Enjoy lively conversation, a thought-provoking panel discussion, and the chance to mingle with these award-winning western artists.

This evening of Capturing the West takes place on July 8 from 6-9 p.m. in the Buffalo Bill Center of the West’s Kuyper Dining Pavilion. Tickets for this evening’s program include custom charcuterie, cowboy desserts, and nonalcoholic beverages of lemonade, coffee and water. There will be a cash bar. Whether you’re a longtime Western enthusiast or simply curious, this is a night you won’t want to miss. Spots are limited and advanced registration is required. This experience is $45 per person, and  $40 per person for the Buffalo Bill Center of the West members.
