Bible Study Fellowship, a worldwide interdenominational Bible study, is announcing a brand new study starting this fall. All residents of the Big Horn Basin are invited to come and study God’s Word.
This year’s study, Exile and Return, invites participants on a powerful journey through the Old Testament, where God’s people were called to build His kingdom in a foreign land. Their story is our story — we, too, are strangers in a broken world, called to build for His glory. As we explore how God equips and positions His people, we’re challenged to ask: Am I building my life for Christ? Exile and Return reminds us that our time to build is now. Books included in this year’s study: Ezekiel, Daniel, Ezra, Esther, Haggai, Zechariah, Nehemiah, and Malachi.
The Cody men’s class starts on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 6:45 p.m. at Cody Bible Church located at 2317 Cougar Ave. There is also a Tuesday evening study group in Powell.
There are numerous options for women to attend: 10:30 a.m. to noon on Thursdays at Cody Alliance Church located at 147 Cooper Lane East in Cody, 7 p.m. on Thursdays in both Cody and Powell, and on Zoom. All start dates are Sept. 11. During the daytime study, women are encouraged to bring children from newborn up to 6 years of age for the weekly preschool Bible study.
