Benjamin Jay Davila, 67, of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away peacefully at home on March 2, 2024, surrounded by those he loved.
Benjamin graced the world on Sept. 21, 1956 in Cody, Wyoming and was raised with love and care by Angelina and Jesus.
In life, Ben was an unrelenting Wyoming Cowboys fan. He was a musician, artist, fisherman, mason, on-air personality, athlete, coach, friend, husband, father and Papa. He loved his family, especially his wife, three children and grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Jesse and Angie, and his sister Virginia. He is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Vanessa, sons Jesse (Tressa) and Benjamin (Shainne), grandsons Dehzi and Chael, sister Leslie (James) Kallem, niece Mandy (Kevin) Ropchan, and several other nieces and nephews.
A eulogy and memorial honoring Ben’s life will be March 16, 2024, 1-3 p.m. at the Park County Fairgrounds.
