From Aug. 6-15, the Powell Library will be displaying the Heritage Quilts from the Homesteader Museum. Join us on Thursday, Aug. 6 at 6 p.m. for a special presentation by Brandi Wright, director/curator of the Homesteader Museum as she explains the history of the quilts.
Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 6 p.m. UW Extension horticulturalist educator will be presenting a program on how to harvest and save seeds. Hope to see you there.
Join us for Gladius Guitar Concert on Friday, Aug. 21 at 3 p.m., and come listen to this award-winning composer.
On Thursday, Aug. 27 at 6 p.m. join us as Denise Laursen presents an Introduction to Canning and Preserving program at the library.
Tuesday (today) we will once again host a Craft Supply Swap. This is a great chance to pick up craft items you would like to explore and share extra items you have at home. The swap will be from 4-7 p.m.
Join us for all ages craft on Friday, Aug. 14 at 1 p.m. to make your own cork fairy house.
Join us for Adult Craft Night on Thursday, Aug. 20 at 6 p.m. and you’re your own Bandana Sunflower Wreath.
Tuesday Afternoon Book Discussion meets on Aug. 11 at 2 p.m. where we will be discussing "Sometimes I Lie" by Alice Feeney. The evening book discussion will be meet on Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 6 p.m. to discuss "Shadow of the Wind," by Carlos Ruiz Zafón.
Powell Library is offering Tech Tuesday. Sign up for a one-on-one session with Park County Library IT who can help you with your device problems. Tech Tuesday will be on Aug. 18, sign ups required.
Teens join us on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 1 p.m. to make an Air-Dry Clay Juice box Photo Holder.
For ages 10 and up join us on Tuesday (today) at 2 p.m. and make your own Bedazzle Ranch Bottle Keychain to celebrate the discovery of ranch by World Cup visitors to America. Then stop by the library on Friday, Aug. 21 from 1-3 p.m. for some fun Soap Carving.
