On Thursday, April 2 at 5 p.m., Johanna Ramos from Tegucigalpa, Honduras will be the featured speaker at the program of American Association of University Women at Northwest College Science Hall.
After graduating from high school, Johanna Ramos attended UTH Florida University where she earned her bachelor’s in human resources. Here at Northwest, she is currently focusing on elementary education and hopes to grow professionally and develop her teaching skills. She will share her goals in education and what she hopes to instill in her students. It is always interesting to hear why and how these foreign students chose to come to Northwest. As an aside, she also speaks three languages, Spanish, Basic German and English.
AAUW members will meet for a brief business meeting at 4:30 p.m. All are welcome to come and hear this charming foreign student.
