2025 Voices of Business Listening Tour kicks off

Posted

CHEYENNE — The Wyoming Business Alliance (WBA), a leading voice for business advocacy in the Equality State, kicked off its 2025 Voices of Business Listening Tour on March 25 at Laramie County Community College. The listening session hosted nearly 50 local representatives of business, industry, and partner organizations who came together to discuss challenges and solutions for Wyoming’s businesses.

Throughout 2025, the WBA is traveling the entire state, connecting directly with business leaders, entrepreneurs, and community partners. More than just a tour, this statewide initiative represents a collaborative movement to shape the future of Wyoming’s economy. Recognizing the importance of dialogue, these events are free and open to the public — not just WBA members.

University of Wyoming College of Business economists will present county-specific economic forecasts at each stop, providing localized insights into opportunities and challenges facing businesses. Equally vital to the tour’s mission is gathering feedback directly from the business community.

Key questions include:

• What barriers are impacting business growth in your community?

• What policies, programs, or resources could make a meaningful difference?

• What success stories can be shared to inspire progress across the state?

The input collected will inform the WBA’s policy priorities and advocacy efforts, helping to shape a business climate in Wyoming that supports both immediate growth and long-term resilience.

These listening sessions are free to attend and open to current members, potential members, and partners. Business owners, entrepreneurs, and community leaders are encouraged to attend and bring a colleague or friend to join the conversation.

Spots are limited for each session. To register, visit: wyomingbusinessalliance.com/countytour

“The success of Wyoming’s economy is rooted in the strength of businesses, industries and communities,” MacKay said. “This tour is about listening, learning, and then acting on what we hear.”
