The public is once again invited to hike the trail at The Nature Conservancy’s Heart Mountain Ranch Preserve.

Powell’s conference rivals set to change in some sports with 2018 reclassification

Powell-Cody games likely won’t have quite the same meaning in coming years, as some shuffling of sports classifications will split the regional rivals into different classes in several sports.

Several of the Heart Mountain United soccer squads concluded their spring seasons with strong finishes at the Wyoming State Cup and Rec Fest in Casper on May 24-26.

Three Powell High School seniors — Mason Olsen, TJ Abraham and Zach Easum — will represent the Panthers in Saturday’s 44th annual Wyoming Shrine Bowl. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. at Casper’s Natrona County High School.

Dano’lope’ Dash

Close to 90 people ran from the Park County Fairgrounds and around the Powell area on Saturday, competing in the sixth annual Dano’lope’ Dash.
