Wyoming Walks: A day of friendship and discovery at Buffalo Bill Center of the West

The University of Wyoming Extension is thrilled to present the Wyoming Walks program for Park County seniors, an initiative designed to promote active living and foster a sense of community and shared experiences.

The Wyoming Walks program for seniors is an indoor walk scheduled for Jan. 26, 2024, at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. The event kicks off at 10 a.m. and walks led by museum experts start promptly at 10:15 a.m.

Recognizing the importance of community engagement, especially during the winter months, Wyoming Walks allows residents to stay active with family, friends and neighbors.

Admission to the Wyoming Walks for Seniors at the Buffalo Bill Museum is free for seniors and their caregivers. Non-senior attendees are welcome, with a regular admission fee of $23. Slow walkers and those with assistance devices are welcome.

Following the guided walk, the Cody Senior Center invites participants for lunch at 11:30 a.m., priced at $4 for Senior Center members and $6 for non-members. Feel free to return to the museum for additional exploration, walks and socializing until closing time at 5 p.m.

If you are a non-member of the Cody Senior Center and plan to have lunch there, contact the center or UWE educator Melissa Cook at 307-568-4160.
